Commercial Claims Handler

Our City Centre based Client is looking for a Senior Handler to join their team.
Responsibilities
Activity for this role includes normal duties of a commercial claims handler to include:
• Receiving and setting up new claims
• Advising clients on presenting their claim and explaining policy coverage
• Negotiating with insurers
• Keeping up to date records
• Work with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities to the systems of work or enhancements in service provided to Clients
• Prepare claims activity reports for key clients
• Meet with key clients to discuss outstanding claims
As you are in a Senior position, you will also be expected to handle/assist in the handling of larger, complex and niche claims as well as supporting your team and colleagues with technical queries.
A mature, professional and hard working individual with 5 years commercial claims handling experience would be ideal to manage the variety within the portfolio and to make a different to their clients.
