Senior Credit Controllers

A major and expanding Insurer is looking for additional Senior Credit Controllers to join their highly professional team.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
To maintain and actively resolve historical and current issues within a designated portfolio and to undertake active pursuit of debts, ensuring all debts are pursued on a regular basis. Also reconciliation and allocation of cash, updating and monitoring of Bad debt exposure.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of outstanding Broker balances. Detailing steps taken to resolve issues.

Investigation and reconciliation of Unallocated Cash. Using initiative to obtain documentation to support cash balances. Achievement of cash reconciliation to be obtained, or recommendation for Bad Debt Provision.

Review accounting ledgers, to confirm total of technical transactions, and cash that relates to the requested from the Commutations Team. Advise of any issues relating to collection issues or timebar.

Active pursuit of debts ensuring all debts are pursued on a regular basis.
Accurate and timely recording and matching of technical transactions and cash

Regular, accurate Accounts to be sent to Brokers.

Undertaking visits to Brokers to resolve issues with confidence and represent the Company in a professional manner.

Identify and respond to approaches for information relating to commutations, schemes and liquidations.

In addition, as required when new projects come into the team, to actively undertake new work. This will also involve supporting the Commutations Team, for reconciliation of accounts, for Pricing Templates for Commutations, and Scheme Submissions.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The role requires previous Credit Control experience, excellent cash and debt reconciliation skills and ideally knowledge of the London Insurance market.
