This role is for an individual to be the Senior Account Handler with a team of 5 Account Handling colleagues. The team also consists of 5 externally focussed new and existing business Account Executives.
• Visits to meet clients and understand their needs
• Understand how FSA impacts on Clients, as many sell insurance on to their own clients
• Quality check systems and processes to recommend improvements
• Act as a role model for junior colleagues
• Become an expert in the risk exposures specialised in and negotiate facilities with insurers for block placing client business
• Enhance and run internal management reporting
• Review and oversee workloads of colleagues, providing support to Team Manager
Skills & Experience
• Commercial insurance experience/knowledge
• Excellent personal organisation and administration
• Good communication, presentation and negotiating skills
• Effective working as a self-starter and cooperatively with team members
• Experience in training and supporting more junior colleagues.
