A new opportunity has arisen to join a leading Insurance Organisation within their Motor Claims department as their Team Leader.
You will be responsible for overseeing the performance and development of team of Motor Claims Negotiators, ensuring that both team and individual performances are maintained as well as customer and client expectations.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of people to achieve all KPI's in line with the business plan.
Act as a referral point for the whole team and control their tasks and priorities.
Carry out regular one-to-one meetings and appraisals.
Provide technical and job related support to team members.
Authorise settlements for team members and assist with all technical claims.
To understand and interpret management information so that development trends are understood and pro-active action is taken at every opportunity.
Person Specification
Experience within the Insurance Industry with a proven ability to lead and manage a team of people.
Good understanding of the claims process.
The ability to coach and mentor your staff whilst monitoring the team's performance on a regular basis. ensuring that quality, customer focus and cost control is maintained.
Able to foster good team spirit and develop a learning culture to support team and individual development objectives.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to liaise effectively with various members throughout the organisation.
