Marine Claims Broker

Major Lloyds broker have an opportunity for an experienced Claims Broker to join their expanding team.
The role will encompass the broking of claims directly or through ECF and there will be regular liaison with underwriters and overseas offices.
You will have a full understanding of all market procedures and competent in the handling of marine hull, cargo or marine liabilities.
This role will involve handling claims from first advice to settlement, broking claims to the London market, liaising with client, adjusters and solicitors, monitoring and handling all claims correspondence.
Successful applicants will require the relevant experience in marine classes of business and strong knowledge of claims broking. A background in underwriting, recovery consultant or claims adjusting would be of interest.
