Property Claims Handler
£18,000 - £20,000, Colchester
A Colchester based Client is looking to recruit an additional Claims Negotiator to join their expanding team.
1.To handle claims within personal handling authority and manage cases outside with referral
2.To be proactive and ensure that all cases are driven to the quickest and most cost-effective settlement
3.Monitor reserves and payments and ensure accurate data input, maintenance and effective use of diary systems
4.To provide claims management information within the requirements of any binding authority and coverholder requirements. Also detailing the technical underwriting and financial performance of coverholder facilities
5.To maintain a Technical Quality Monitoring programme with coverholders incorporating local quality management, file audit, reviews of claims handling authority levels and competency assessment
6.Monitor the performance of claims service providers, including loss adjusters, to ensure delivery of the best possible service and cost effective settlement
7.To support senior management in the development of new coverholder arrangements and products, and provide peer support and technical guidance
The successful candidate:
Will have Claims handling experience of either Property or Household cases from cradle to grave and excellent communication skills.
