Reinsurance Claims Handlers

We are working with a growing business within one of the largest general insurers in the UK who due to continued growth are looking for candidates into a fixed term contract, for a busy and challenging claims based role.
Duties and Responsibilities
• The RI Claims Handler provides processing services for UK and American business. The Team processes all types of contracts and claims (both marine and non-marine), with outstanding loss reserves below €100k, plus claims with higher reserves which require processing only.
• You will process claims and contracts data accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, in accordance with agreed processes and claims segmentation rules
• Identify and close dormant claims in accordance with agreed rules in order to maximise savings
• Process requests for letter of credit creation, increase, withdrawals and cancellations in accordance with agreed processes.
• Set up new claims and precautionary claims in accordance with agreed rules
Skills and Experience
• Experience in handling / processing insurance and reinsurance claims
• Ability to handle and /or acquire a good working knowledge of different classes of insurance and reinsurance business
