Senior Underwriter
£35,000 - £37,000, Colchester
Due to expansion in Colchester we are currently seeking a senior level Underwriter with Commercial experience to include Property Owners cover.
For this senior role you will have a good understanding of the Insurance Market and be technically strong and confident to assist less experienced Underwriters with technical guidance.
You will deal with larger clients for new business enquiries and renewals by producing terms thus converting and retaining profitable business.
You will assist in formulating Underwriting and business strategy to achieve profitable growth and conduct regular case reviews to ensure that technical procedures and standards are followed.
You will undertake referral cases above the authority levels of underwriters below you.
