Risk Manager
£35,000 - £40,000, Norwich
Our Client is a leading commercial insurance Broker based in Norwich who is looking to recruit a Risk Manager to work alongside both the new business and claims teams.
You would be required to use your experience gained in property surveying to visit Clients (new prospect Clients and existing) to carry out the following responsibilities.
- To provide a risk control survey service to the business in accordance with Company philosophy and within prescribed service standards
- Undertake risk surveys within the operational area (Norfolk & Suffolk) and complete reports, together with risk improvements, for submission to Underwriters to support new business proposition or strengthen claims negotiations
- Surveys undertaken comprise a wide range of commercial insurance sectors including retail, manufacturing, motor trade, distribution and leisure trades of varying size
The aim of this role is to add value and service to existing accounts and sound and well informed advice and guidance to new accounts on improving their risk and therefore reducing their premiums and terms.
Although this is an external role, you will be required to report to the Norwich office on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will come from an external surveying background, with knowledge specifically of property insurance. Experience gained in an insurer surveying role is ideal.
Qualifications such as NEBOSH (and equivalents) are an advantage.
