Claims Manager

£30,000 - £35,000, Ipswich

A new opportunity has been created for a Claims Manager to join a leading Insurance Organisation within their Motor Claims department.
You will oversee the performance and development of the teams of Negotiators, ensuring that both team and individual performance are maintained as well as customer and client expectations.
Also ensuring the effective business relationships with key Clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead team leaders to achieve all KPI's in line with the business plan and delivery of first class service
• Implement strategies designed for the achievement of excellent customer service to ensure that service level targets are achieved
• Develop a focused culture of continual improvement to provide a rewarding environment in which people develop and empowered to contribute to achieving KPI and business goals
• Liaise with other departments and external clients to ensure customer satisfaction and improvement of processes and procedures
• Interpret management information so that development trends are understood and pro-active action is taken at every opportunity.
Person Specification
• A proven ability to lead and manage people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to liaise effectively internally and externally
• Good understanding of the claims process
• Able to foster good team spirit and develop a learning culture to support team and individual development objectives
