Account Executive

Our major Broking Client is currently looking for PI specialists to join its PI team and help drive the development of its UK professions business. The opportunity exists for the right candidates to both lead and support a number of key PI initiatives.

Your role of Account Executive is responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for sales, retention and ongoing business development. You will be managing and developing accounts and client relationships for the Professional Indemnity team.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Actively support and develop your Clients to deliver required growth and achieve agreed business targets
• Actively drive sales and servicing activities in relation to winning, retaining and developing profitable clients
• Work closely and maintain strong working relationships with Broking teams and market contacts
• Ensure compliant processing of contracts as per FSA and contract certainty requirements
The successful candidate will have:

• Good working knowledge of the insurance market in order to identify and deal effectively with client needs
• Comprehensive understanding of PI
• Ability to operate at every level within the sales process from conducting initial prospect meeting to delivering a successful proposal
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones
• Excellent client focus skills with proven experience of delivery high levels of client service
