Financial Services Administrator - Ipswich - up to £19,000 (depending on experience)

Our Client - a professional, forward thinking Financial Services Organisation, are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join them as a Financial Services Administrator.

They are looking for candidates with a relevant Financial Services, Economics or Business degree who are keen to get into Financial Services OR candidates with relevant professional experience in the Financial Services environment.

In return for your hard work, professional qualifications will be funded for by the organisation.

If successful you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

  • Meeting and greeting clients, delivering first class service
  • Providing administrative support to the Financial Consultants
  • Preparing documentation packs for client meetings, writing reports and recommendations
  • Recording and maintaining client personal, investment and transaction data
  • Communicating with clients via telephone, e-mail, post and occasionally face to face
  • Ensuring clients are proactively updated where required and expectations managed effectively
  • Preparing and distributing client financial statements and newsletters
  • Processing and monitoring new and existing business; effective pipeline management
  • Administration of Group Schemes
  • Liaising with clients, fund management groups and insurance companies on a day to day basis
  • Information gathering, preparing and completing application forms, opening and distributing post, writing letters and preparing spreadsheets
  • Fully engage with Iress/Adviser office (back office client relationship management system) and proactively look to ways it can improve efficiency
  • Working with and supporting other members of the team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assisting with the recording and reconciling of adviser charging where necessary

Our Client offers a professional but friendly working environment with normal office hours Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
