You will be comfortable managing sales and technical teams while delivering the highest possible levels of service to your clients.

Also you will have a track record of successfully developing your people while motivating them to excellent performance.

As Insurance Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your teams to deliver service excellence.
  • Managing and monitoring operational performance against SLA's.
  • Identify and support development opportunities for all your team members.
  • Support the Senior Management Team on all aspects their client's activities and the identification and management of business risks.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships, internally and externally.
  • Ensure that objectives and goals are effectively communicated and that team and individual assessments are regularly completed.
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams in all locations to understand and incorporate specific client requirements.
  • Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to meet internal and external regulations.
  • Supporting and instigating continual process and operational improvement.
  • Ensure consistent processes are implemented while ensuring all training and mentoring is effective.
  • Recruit, manage, develop and motivate team members including managing performance reviews and performance standards.
  • Identify MI requirements and utilise available reports to proactively and efficiently manage work to achieve KPI's.

To be successful as an Insurance Operations Manager you will demonstrate:

  • Good knowledge of the Insurance Industry in order to support client and technical issues.
  • Previous people and operational Management experience with a record of success of service delivery and people development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an approachable, confident outlook.
