Our Client, a leader in their field, are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their busy team.

Reporting to the Operations Director this role will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the business by working with Team Leaders to ensure the delivery of operational performance in line with numerous contract driven KPI's. As well as line management the role will be responsible for internal auditing, measuring and reporting on operational performance, plus liaison with finance, HR and IT.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate they are effective leaders with a pro-active management style who enjoy the challenge and responsibility of leading a busy operations team whilst able to work through challenges with a positive and calm approach.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE -

  • supervisory/managerial experience within an operational environment preferably within an Insurance/Financial Services environment
  • good knowledge of IT automation for systemisation of routine processes along with at least an intermediate capability for all primary MS Office applications
  • previous experience of developing process plans and implementing them to time and budget to enhance efficiency measurement and offer options to minimise time input
  • the ability to be both hands-on, tactical and strategic
  • the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues across the Company and the wider group that spans 140 countries
  • Successful problem solving skills using a logical approach to what may be competing forces
